Why we're making LuniNote
For people who have kept notes for ten or twenty years and want a calm place to keep them, without starting over.
Many people have a decade or more of notes: recipes, letters, receipts, manuals, the papers of a life. When the app that holds them changes under you, moving feels risky. Will everything arrive? Will I still find things? Will I have to learn a new way of working? LuniNote is built to answer those three questions.
What we hold ourselves to
- Nothing lost. Every import ends with a report that accounts for every note, and anything that couldn't come across is named.
- Familiar from the first minute. Notebooks, stacks, tags, shortcuts and the search you already know, so you don't have to relearn how you work.
- Yours to take. Export everything, any time, in open formats, with no form to fill in.
- Calm. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data, and nothing that shouts at you.
- Honest about what's missing. What LuniNote doesn't do yet is listed on the features page, under Not yet.
Where we are
LuniNote is in open beta, free while the beta runs. It works in Chrome, Edge and Brave on a computer for now; phone and desktop apps come after the web app is complete.
Who we are
LuniNote is built independently in Slovakia.
