Terms of use

These terms cover the LuniNote open beta. They're short on purpose.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

An open beta

LuniNote is in an early, open beta: anyone can sign up. It's built and run in Slovakia. The beta is free. If we ever offer paid plans, we'll tell you well in advance, and nothing is charged without your clear agreement.

No warranty

Because it's a beta, things may break, change or be unavailable for a while. We work hard to keep your notes safe, with backups, version history and export, but we provide LuniNote as it is, without warranties. Keep your own copy of anything important (Settings, Export your notes), and keep your Evernote account until you're sure.

Your notes are yours

You own what you put in LuniNote. You allow us to store, copy, process and display it only as far as running the service for you needs: syncing it, reading text from your files so you can search them, backing it up. That permission ends when you delete it.

Use it fairly

  • Don't use LuniNote to break the law or anyone else's rights.
  • Don't upload malware, try to get into other people's accounts or our systems, or overload the service on purpose.
  • If you find a security problem, tell us at support@luninote.com instead of testing it further.
  • Don't resell access to your account.
  • Use the move from Evernote only for an Evernote account that's yours.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account. One person per account.

Ending the beta

You can leave at any time: export your notes and delete your account in Settings. We may end the beta, or your access, at any time. Unless you've seriously broken these terms, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, so you can export your notes first.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability the law doesn't allow us to limit, including for intent or gross negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of Slovakia.
